Story teller

Once upon a time...

Jenny is a storyteller and a multi-disciplinary performer, she uses puppetry, song and dance to rapture the viewer and enhance the story. Her workshops vary in style and level, she caters for nursery, primary, secondary school and adult learners. Her repertoire ranges from Mary Shelley’s gothic story of Frankenstein, which includes a hip hop monster that raps his tale of woe, to the beat of poetry for teenagers, which explores and compares the verse of Benjamin Zephaniah, The Black Eyed Peas, Shakespeare, Philip Larkin and many other poets.

 

Jennifer Moule (BA, TOEFL, PGCE, MA) studied English Literature at Bristol University, later she trained as a secondary school teacher in English at Liverpool John Moores University as part of the Teach First programme, and in 2014 she was awarded a Masters in Education from Manchester University.

Alongside her teaching career, she is a performer and a jazz singer, she has staged and performed work at the Tate Modern, the Edinburgh Festival, the Kazimier and the Camden Theatre Festival.
